Data for this rating was collected on Hard difficulty. The game is quite similar in both difficulty levels. The only notable difference between the normal and hard level is the number of monsters to fight. Since fighting is the primary source of physical motion in the game, playing on harder difficulties does increase calories expenditure. Rater did not test on Insane Mode.
